Yes, here it is! My first post on this, my freshly set-up new Blogger ... err, blog! Well, I've decided to take the plunge and make myself my own little niche on the web, as so many others have before me. I'll update as and when I can, when I have something of any interest, no matter how small, to say.
I'm a @@-year old living in the UK, currently working as a carer, previously a conservation worker. I spend a fair amount of time on the internet, or playing PC games, watching movies and generally spending time unproductively. When the snow isn't around, I also garden, helping my Dad who can't manage it himself any more.
I'm looking to get back into conservation work, at least as a volunteer - full time, it was starting to wear me out. It's just a question of fitting it into my somewhat disjointed work schedule - as a care worker, I visit people at home at times convenient to them, rather than working full days.
I've done some writing in the past - who knows, if my muse strikes again then I may have another go! Not that I'm good enough to be published -
